Fiction that will scare your pants off.

This past week I read "The Shell Game".  Whew, glad it's fiction and glad I'm done with it. There was several times when I thought I just need to quit reading this, it was making me crazy. What a choice to be reading during the DNC gala. This writer is extremely adept at sucking you in and keeping you interested till the end, if you enjoy this type of thriller, which I usually do, this just may not have been the best time to read it.

Watch a trailer below and then decide if it's worth your time. Sure makes one think, something I do to much of.

  1. Wow! What a way to advertise a book! Are you sure it's fiction? lol I may have to check that out!

  2. A trailer for a book. That's amazing! I'll get it for my husband, who loves such things, and if it's especially good I'll read it too.

  3. I've never seen a trailer for a book before. Interesting. Looks like a thriller that's for sure and possibly not too far in the future. Industry and war are too closely related for my liking nowadays anyway.

  5. Claudia,

I sent you my phone number in a separate email. We'll be gone this week-end but will return Monday. Call whether you have honey or not. Happy to share some Denver peaches.

  6. Sounds like a good read for the winter for me, thanks for sharing!

I'm not going to make it out there for my niece's wedding this month. Hubby's hospital bill doesn't allow me the extra money for plane fare! :(

  7. Very scary. I'm always frightened of dire geo-political scenarios that end in worldwide death and destruction. It's not a certainty that we will survive our behaviors....

I love your quote from Gandhi.
